Bought a Wizards of Nos kit from a guy on mig a week or so ago,

finally got it all plumbed, wired in and tested last night.

i was a bit nervous about fitting it at first as with any new engine mod you do, but i was also experimenting as i have not yet heard of a 2l ecotec to have been run on nos yet, but we got it wired in and did the normal tests, plugs were all a nice colour with even distribution.

then gave it a better run and even on the testing 25bhp jets at the minute it is superb. the torque is hugely noticable now even though it was torquey before it is a huge difference, pulling up a hill from low rpm it just pulls like a turbo diesel and keeps going all around the rev range.
im really happy with it so far, going to be putting 50 jets in tonight or tommorow and i will get some pictures up too later on.

no... its just a rating used on the size of the jets, gains vary from engine to engine...

i said 25 jets, but they are actually a 50 nitrous jet and a 20 fuel jet, which does equate to 25bhp and 25lb/ft torque.

for the 50bhp it will be a 100 nitrous jet and a 40 fuel jet as it goes up in a ratio.

yeah it does differ, using a bottle heater makes a change to what ratio you use and other things can differ the ratio and size of jets to be used

diesels run superb on nos, my mate has it on has cav td and ran a 15.2 at york raceway last year on a slipping clutch, all he had done to it then was upped boost & fuel and running nos.

he has a bigger turbo, external wastegate, water/methanol injection and nitrous injection and a new clutch now so he's hoping to break 14's when we go again on the 17th June.

make sure you get on the wizards website to read up on the tests you need to do to make sure its running correctly. dont rush it to get it done as you need to make sure everything is done properly, even down to routing hoses correctly.

also as you have tb's i was wondering if you have had a remap? if so you need to check if you timing has been retarded or advanced as this can cause major problems with detonation.

Watch the welds on the inlet manifold and check your floorpan for signs of it peeling up when in a street race situation!
