As most of you are aware, I own a Saxo VTS..

Running about 140bhp at an estimate.

I’m not sure to do, either keep it for a year and get something else, But I’l struggle to get much quicker until I can afford running costs and insurance.

Or do I cam my Saxo get it running nicely at about 160+bhp?
With a decent suspension and some white compo mo 5 spokes

Running ¼ times at under 15 seconds 

Well if your thinking of getting something else in the future thats better than a saxo, why waste your money trying to "improve" the saxo in the mean time?

Saxo looks nice and with throttle bodies, cams and manifold should keep up with most hot hatches out there!

Just dont do what I did - Spend thousands on a hatch, get bored, sell it for peanuts and regret it!

cam's + TB's then remap

but get some slight piston cut outs (not as expensive as you think) and run some slightly wilder cams than cat cam 708's

haha 170-180 bhp then

Would beat just about everything lol

I beat OJC's Astra VXR down the strip twice and I haven't got TB's or anything haha.

despite what topshot says a standard vts is no slower than a standard 306gti, so a tuned vts vs a standard 306gti will be faster

306 GTi is faster than a VTS Steve you moron.

Why would they make the 106 GTi faster than its big brother the 306 GTi? I raced a 106 GTi in my Punto GT and beat it, raced a 306 GTi and couldn't get past him.

I want to do a few more bits to mine, but i don't want to go silly and it breaks! Mine is still pulling hard all the way to the limiter so i want the limiter raised, decat, cams and a remap and i think i'll be happy!

omg sometimes i wonder about you, the 106gti isnt faster than a 306gti, they are about equal up to a ton, the 306gti probably has a bit more pull above a ton

a standard punto GT also isnt faster than a 106gti
