Right, bought this beauty of ebay a couple of weeks ago as a project, but i have now decided against my old plans...

New plan = Fix up, rescue it and sell it on hopefully making a few pennies in the process

heres the car as she stands - currently needs:

Front bumper
sideskirts
rust around rear wiper sorting
both doors - ones been bent out the others dented
seat frame drivers side is broke
needs a rear view mirror
leather need sorting out its in rather poor condition
MOT
a damn good polish

I'll be raiding my parts bin for this - luckilly i have most the stuff i need knocking around!

Happy days!

Could make a few quids on this. You could just give me the doors off of this car then I don't have to dismantle your good doors for the glass and leccy windows?

Update:

Thankfully it wasnt the red one that fell off!!!

Went down to eds farm today to get the last of the bits off my old corsa, decided the best option to remove the bits was to roll the car on its side and remove the rear beam, then put it on its roof to remove the passenger door.... this went ok, until i opened the door to remove it and the car rocked back bending the frame... great

anyways - parts gathered today:

Gsi front bumper
drivers door
floor mats
some random trims..

money spent... £0

Actually done some bits to this..

mainly polishing..

Pic that shows best the colour of the car before..

Havent actually been using T-Cut, Tom lent me his mop, g3 and m3 finesse all the way

The Nearside looked like this, one damaged door (had been bent out in a attempt to pinch it) and the wing had loads of rust on from beeing poorly 'rolled'

New door to go on

To this..

Quick pic of the offside rear..

Car was then taken to Ed's for tom to paint the Gsi front bumper, a drivers door, stienmetz skirts and sort some other little bits out..
As i left it yesterday..

Getting there..

no, flat paint like flame red is not laquered anyway, the reason it goes pink is due to oxidisation of the paint. once its mopped etc it needs to be polished regularly the same as any other car to maintain a protective barrier to prevent it oxidising again
