Looks like he wont be granted a work permit as hasnt played 75% of his countries internationals in the last 2 years.

We had a similar problem when signing Gonzalez (he had played over half though) yet they made us wait a season to get him over here

No doubt you will get a permit for him somehow though, sure a Spanish relative will sppear!
