got another price 2day from a vauxhall mechanic £180 as a foreigner. i will just have to change the timing belt and tensioners and fit a new clutch and get the engine to him to fit and provide the oil, filter and coolant. hes also going to move the o2 sensor on my exhaust manifold as its been put in 1 pipe not where it goes into 4.
not bad ay?

So is this legit work with Vauxhall or just a mechanic from Vauxhall doing the work on the side for you? Its still cheap and will probably do a realy good job. But just becareful. If somthing went wrong and its somthing "Vauxhall" done/didnt do, will he/"they" fix it for free?

the mechanic used to work for vauxhall but now has his own garage, a m8 of mine mentioned him to me, but i thought he worked for vauxhall so it isnt a foreighner hes doin. gotta try and sort out transport now to get the engine to the garage and get my old 1 back to my house when the job is done.
am thinking of stripping the old engine then and selling parts. or would any 1 reccomend i rebuild it and sell it whole?
