been trying to send an email, but its been bouncing back. i think its cos the attachment is 23mb lol.
its a .tif file.... how can i make it smaller...or change it into a .pdf?

tif? is it a scan of something?
Try using a image editor to save it as a file format with better compression.. personally I use Infranview...

Try using paint mate (programs, accessories, paint).
Open the tiff, then go File -> Save as.
Then in the bottom box where it says Save As Type, select JPEG.
Should be alot smaller.
22MB is far too big to send, your mail server probably has a rule to stop shit like that getting out.

i was thinking about doing that in paint, but didnt know if it would work..ie make it unreadable.
i had a fiddle around, and put it in a zip file....made it 3mb......it seems to have gone through ok now

i feel quite chuffed. i didnt want to resort to going upstairs and asking the IT guys...because at time i'm confident i know more about IT than they do
