hi everyone new to forums but just bought r reg corsa sport ....... long story but high milage 110,000 had it checked cos lumpy on tick over mobile tune up guy told me pinging on cylinder 3 change leads and lamber sensors going down ....... did it no change then he said maybe sticky lifter valve try engine flush and new oil did it no difference ........ now he is saying maybe a jacked valve need then replacing! but here's the thing rev's needle is searching no mis-fire at revs above 2000 and no un toward knockin noise's but it is drinkin the juice when idling could it be the ic valve? or would splits in air hoses contribute to the fuel problem and mis fire? any help much apprieciated as at wits end and cant afford £180 to find out it wasn't jacked valve
