wot tyre size shall i go for, for my softstars?? was thinking a profile of 40?? please help!!!

cant find 40s for cheap anywhere at moment will shop around...im looking at yokohama A539 which i know are crap in the wet as have them now...but they cheapish for 45s just want 40s though...grrr will have a trek around local shops when i get paid i guess mytyres and blackcircles seem crap but ill c when i check the locals out i guess
