im going to lower my car, people have said 60mm would look good. please post some pics of 40mm and 60mm if you have any?!? cheers

lower it 60mm, will look good and handle well too . check my garage for pics of 60mm ( silver corsa and red corsa)

mine handled perfect with 60mm FK supertec , had them for 2 and a half years. used to push my mates 106 gti round islands whilst his backend kept stepping out ironically.

60mm defo, if thats your corsa in your avatar then those wheels are et49 an sure, so youll be able to lower 60mm without any problems

i was fairly sure they were 49, wills checking now i think

if my wheels were et49 id lower it till i was nearly touching the insdie of the arches!! haha

Them Astra SXI wheels are et49 so 60mm should be fine on a decent size tyre.

80mm at bk
looks nice an handles well, with 40s you can hardly tell.

yeh its et49 with 195/45 tyres. i bought them second hand with brand new tyres for 250 sumin if i remember correctly is that cheep?!?

yeah cheap enough. if tyres are brand new people will say you can get cheaper though

I was also thinking of this? Mines the red Sport in my avatar. Can i go 60mm down on springs with standard shockers?

Id say 60 for yours anyway mate.

both my mate have corsa on 40s, they were not inpressed when fit them, took my other mate to buy some spring, was gonna get 40s i said get 60s the guy at counter said yeah you want 60s really said they get alot of people coming in after buying em saying have you give me right spring, its not much lower.

i'm not talking about being lower, I'm talking about handling better than a correct 40mm (or 50mm) setup, not just springs...

i never been 40, i had sri 16v that was 60-front an 80-back,was mint round corners that was on spax rsx shocks an springs

however, the gsi is 60-front an 80-back on fks does not feel as stable as sri did, i have spun it once on drig roundabout facing on coming traffic

I lowered mine 35mm on Apex springs and KYB Gas shocks...wish I'd gone 60mm now. Not sure if mine looks high because the shocks are that stiff or not, lower than it was as standard anyway. I'll be going 60mm as soon as I find some money.
