OK... Let me know if I don't explain this well enough...
I "buy" music which goes into a downloads folder on a shared drive. This folder has permissions for only my user account (i.e. no other admin account can access it).
I then rename music/id3 tags etc, and put it into a shared folder on the same drive - which has permissions for all administrators.
What happens then is other admins try and play a song from the shared folder - but only my user account has permissions on the song. I then have to remember to go into the permissions and change it from just my user - to all administrators.
How do I make it so as soon as I copy the songs into the shared folder, they inherit the permissions from the folder I'm pasting them into?

Are you "copying" or "moving" the songs?

cut n paste (this is for both folders(albums) and individual songs)

That's the same as moving. It'll inherit the permissions. If you 'copied' them across it wouldn't.
