Left my pc on whilst i was out signed in to msn.

Came back 4hours later and a message on screen saying i had signed in from another computer?!

So i signed back on and all my contacts had been messed about, all put into the OTHER folder rather than friends/family etc?!

Has someone hacked my account??

It sounds like it to me.... I've only ever seen that message if I leave myself signed in on desktop, and then sign in on my laptop. Then when back to the desktop that message is displayed.

Change your password sharpish if I were you (and if the same one is used for anything else)

Unless theres some new flaw accounts can't be hacked like that.

They've not used the forgotten password tool because your password is still the same.

The only way the password could have been stolen is if you entered it into a dodgy site or if you have a trojan etc.

It won't have been msn directly that has been hacked.

I've been using 8.1 daily for ages, never had any problems with it.
