cruising corsa - thats a very good point. maybe we need to organise meets all over the place so that it becomes fair for everyone?

i'll try and organise something with SC when my car is alive

the best way to make this place more lively, and "bigger" is to get involved with other regional meets. We have South east and east mids surrounding us. we should invite them all to our meets, and should try our best to attend theirs.

as people might know, i went to MK on sunday for a SC meet...it was really good, and loads of people turned up. we just need meets where every one can turn up...not just 2 or 3.

the meets in norwich are always better in my opinion.

exactly. if some people cant be bothered to drive a little distance then there's no point arranging a regional meet. if this region didnt have another meet, yes it would bother me....but i know i can still catch up with chris and yourself....because we could arrange to go to a SE meet for example.

people need a reason to come to a meet. and having to drive any distance for only 2 or 3 cars to arrive is not a reason. i like the EA meets because i can see james' car (in my top 5 on cs) catch up with peeps like kerry, pete, etc...would like to see how damo is getting on with his wide arch monster! but thats not everyones reason to go...especially if people have never been to a meet before....if we can think of a good time and place to meet...and give others a good reason to join in...it will be a success...the BBQ at roy humphries was absolutly superb...we need another one of those!

the last meet in norwich wasnt too bad with sandsy turning up from EM, and if you know others are making more of an effort, then its a good insentive to make the effort yourself!

anyway they were just thoughts off the top of my head lol.

south central is a dead region tbh, even though it covers a massive area, most of the sc people come to se meets and events, look at the mk meet, how many where from central ? 1 or 2 out of 15 say ? need to promote your region to new members
