best method to debadge and wot to use?
heard hair dryer with dental floss?
started and already scratched it so gutted.
any ideas?

heat them up, then use and old swipe card/credit card and gently prise them off.
then use some bug and tar remover to clean up

easy use a bit of cotton, it will come off in seconds no heating required, place the cotton behind it and saw through the glue, kinda like dental flossing, then clean off the glue with meths

Floss to remove the main badge and as much of the backing in one go, rub or roll what's left of the backing then some GT85 to clean up the sticky residue.

I used hot water it came straight off and glue peeled off pretty easy

Mates 106 was as easy as this too, but corsas are much harder.
Just make sure you have tar remover or sumthing similar and dont try to peel the glue off just by hand as it will take ages. My car was left with glue on it for weeks lol.

Use a pencil rubber to get the excess glue off, works a treat.

great im gonna look a right fud in the street with cutton, dental floss, credit cards, tar remover, couple kettles, meths and pencil rubber!
Sounds like a jumble sale
lucky i stay in council estate in posh area i'd get done!
cheers guys will tackle it on friday
need to t cut or polish scrathes out gutted!

dont use a heat gun or hair dryer, didnt heat it up enough for me and it pulled off the laqour when i pulled the badge....use boiling water
but make sure to dry the area before using the white spirit

Cotton as in could you used some thread, or just use dental floss? I personally used a combo of the heat gun, hot water and elbow grease.

Excellent, ill try that on my mates SXI, tried taking the side strips off a few night ago, the paint was fucked underneath. This il do for the badges tho

people are missing the point you use the cotton like a saw, to saw through the back of the badge, not sure why people are using heatguns lol

melt the sticky crap steve, once its warm saw with the twine/cotton/string, and its easier and comes off in one piece !

I just used a screwdriver wrapped in soft cloth on my 106. I wouldnt recomend tryin it though coz it did scratch it a bit

it comes off in one piece anyway without any heating, seriously use a piece of cotton it will go straight through the back of it in seconds

The glue really doesnt come off with meths though, takes fucking ages with whatever you use, basically elbow grease.
