me sisters corsa sport is goin for its MOT 2mz (failed on front drivers side suspension and front tyres.
as she doesnt want to payout money to get it fixed due to car being sold she asked me if i would fit my wheels and my front suspension.
my gsi is dead at the mo so wont bother me.
what do people think???

Yes cant see why it wont work but it would be wrong to refit the broken parts back to a car with 12months mot

by all means fit your bits to get it thought the mot, but you have to think what might happen if you refit the old parts and sell it. they've failed the mot for a reason

the tyres aint that bad lol (garage bein fussy)
and the suspension has a crack in the spring.
shes takin it to a ford dealers garage as they are doin an offer on MOTs £10

defo get the spring replaced. why have they failed the tyres?

Think of it another way if you put back the broken parts its as good as not having MOT, would you let your sister buy a car which has MOT failiure parts on it? without replacing them.

I agree it will get you out of the shit for an MOT but its wrong to replace on faulty or worn parts after. To a degree its fraud

the damaged suspension will be put onto my gsi so basically im swopping the front suspension over.
only down side is the suspension on my sisters corsa is lowered 60mm
so her car will be lowered 60mm on the rear and sit higher on the front and vice versa on mine
will be getting new suspension for mine any way soon

Just swap it over then when she can she can get new springs for the front at the end of the day they have failed it for a reason as its unsafe in their eyes. Well its unsafe anyway lol so just swap
