Who has a show cage in their car?

Is it worth putting one in? I think they look good and as they're for show thats what they for.

i think they look rubbish and you can tell when its a show cage !

sorry, they dont look rubbish, but you can tell when its just a show cage or a real one...

oh yes, they do look good mate, i can just tell when its not real, and to me it just makes it kinda look "fake" like fitting a roof scoop to a scooby that doesnt need it ( best comparison i could think of )

What do you class as a showcage and what do you class as a proper one?

To my mind a proper one that is built to rallye specifications FIA approved.

A show cage to me is a seat belt mounted one normally made by Dimma.

Mine is half way between both.

i think hes on about the one that just goes upto the rear seat oli, like the "dimma" ones on ebay

full bolt in show cages i agree look good, ones that end at the rear seat look rubbish IMo.

Cupra steve has one in his 106 i believe. looked pretty good from what i can remember.

mine rattles a little bit but thats me not tightening it properly should really do that, but look wise i like it, and i can still retain the use of my rear seats although some people bang their heads lol only fault i can find is that the front seatbelts are at their highest and i usually have them low but i just dug out my free redline harness pads and its reet lol
