Is it worth installing?
We're currently running SBS 2003, have around 30 PC Users, running a Sharepoint Site, a couple of small access applications.
Is it worth installing SQL Express edition? I certainly couldnt justify buying a full blow product.
Also, once installed, is it faily easy to configure / setup? Will much need to be changed such as sharepoint etc?

yes lol
We use a simple database application for our electronic ordering system. I wouldnt normally mention it, but one of the programmers mentioned it might be benifical to install it, not just for his software.

So at the moment that application is written in something like Access?
Well SQL Server is just a back end database, you would need someone to write a front end in something like .Net, VB6 or Classic ASP.
