There you go, an English winner, without the hype the papers create.
Suppose noone on here knew he just won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon with
Jelena Jankovic
Congrates to the lad.

I knew, watched one of his matches the other day
Doubles doesnt get the TV coverage of other sports, hence why it gets less other media coverage, hence why there are less fans and less people who give a fuck.

So will the papers tomorrow be about Hamilton coming third, or Murray winning the mixed doubles?
Hamilton without a doubt.
That is why i hate media hype, and why media has turned me against Hamilton.

Yes, but thats because they know people care about F1 more than they do about doubles tennis at wimbledon.
When that starts getting the sort of TV viewing figures as F1 does then Im sure he will be all over the back pages.

Yes, he is Scottish, apologies for my error.
Maybe that is why the press will ignore it, and focus their back page on Hamilton coming third.

However, the English press will chose Hamilton coming third a their main story (and with 2 more pages inside the back cover no doubt)

FFS thats because the F1 has more selling power than the Tennis does.
No one really cares about doubles tennis, its for people who arent good enough to play on their own. Thats why football gets more coverage than rugby. Boxing over karate. Table tennis over tiddle-winks.
