Mine used to run that hot when I had an induction kit on the car with no cold air feed. Is it a standard engine?

Wouldn't know about the manifold, only thing it might be is the induction kit sucking in too much hot air

My X14XE used to sit about 92/93 until I put a cool running thermostat in. Now sits just under 90.
