How can you say he's shit in the Premiership - he's virtually untried. 20 odd games of either coming on for the last two minutes or playing out of posiition.

I'm not that keen on the transfer though, still remember the whole Lee Clark fiasco!

I actually think that Chopra could do well in the premier league with the right team. I felt sorry that he wasn't given more of a chance a Newcastle, God knows he was a better prospect than Ameobi ever was

Also Chopra scored 7 more goals than Nugent in the Championship last season, has Premier League experiance and is about the same age so that deal doesn't look to bad really

Nugent is over-rated imo. After scoring for England he started believing all the hype around him and got too cocky. I'm sure he didn't get many for Preston after the England game?

Saying that i still think he'll do well in the PL

I think Chopra will be a good signing for Sunderland player wise, but not too keen on the person from what i've seen, specially after his celebrations for Cardiff when he scored at the SOL. If he does sign he'll have to start scoring quickly or he'll get some grief from the crowd to say the least.

I love the way Chopra appears to have been 23 for about 5 years.
