Need to get rid of my corsa, seen a few cars i would like.

One being a black BMW 316i coupe, iv got a quote being 17 with no ncb for £209.99 a month , thats cheap for me but quite alot of money, could manage it until december when i get my years no claims so it drops a bit, but the bmw is only £600, with all service history, 6 months tax and a years MOT, and is in good condition. Do i go for the BMW or hunt for something a tad cheaper on insurance

You're willing to pay £2520 a year on insurance?

Is that Fully Comp?

There is no way I would pay £2520 for a BMW 316 ever

I'd wait until you're a little older (more NCB, driving experience etc) then look at other cars. Also consider running/service costs of a BMW

Seriously, don't do it.

316s are shit, it's not worth paying £1400, let alone £2520

You might be able to afford the insurance, but what about when something goes wrong. Older BMW parts are going to be more expensive than the average 17-year-old drivers car.

Plus, if you have the slightest crash, they'll write it off, and you'll see nothing of the £2k+ insurance you've paid.

Well its just under £100 on top of my monthly payments now, so when my policy ends, i would only of paid an extra £500 on top of what i would have paid to keep my corsa until the policy ends. And as for when it goes wrong, yea it will be more expensive to fix, but il still have spair money every month just incase

I did a quote on a 172 and im 21 (22 in 3 weeks) with 4yrs ncb and it was less than 1100, think it was more like 900 through directline

Also j if your willing to pay £200 a month, get a loan for 4/5k and buy a new car which will last u the next 3/4 yrs with that u could get a new car and insurance for the 200 a month.

Dont need to save for a flat, no rush to go anywhere, like i said its only and extra £500 on top of my corsa for the time i would have it, which is nothing really. Bloody hell was only asking for advice this site can be proper sh*t sometimes people need to chill out!!
