Taking into account new signings (or ones you know will happen) what would be your teams line up that you'd like to see next season?
Mine is...
-----------------------------------Reina--------------------------------------
---------------Finnan----------Carragher-----------Agger----------------
----Pennant---------------Alonso-------------Masch------------Babel----
----------------------------------Gerrard--------------------------------------
----------------------Torres-------------------Kuyt---------------------------
I would love to see Rafa go for a 3-5-2 formation next season, although Im not sure he will do. He did it a few times last season in away games and it really worked (murdered Wigan away in the first half playing this, went in 4-0 at half time).
Finnan would be the weakest link at the back with his age, but he could do a season there no probs. Masch will offer the defensive barrier from the midfield, along with Alonso who would be allowed more attacking role to create as he does best. Pennant and Babel out wide could be hit or miss.
The main thing this formation does though is give Gerrard a totally attacking free role. With two CM behind him he has few defensive duties so can drive forward when he wants, and with Kuyt/Crocuh and Torres infront of him it should be a good attacking line up.

-------------------------------------Brill---------------------------------------
----Foley------------Coyne------------Barnett/Perry----------Goodall--
----Bell--------------Spring-------------Edwards---------------Currie----
----------------------Parkin-----------------Peschisolido-------------------
But, Barnett and Foley may be sold, and we are still meant to be signing more players so who knows what may change.

p.s. All British except Coyne who is Australian. I think Pesch might be Canadian or something, and Foley is from ROI.
8/11 home grown players.

---------------------------Fabianski----------------------------
------Sagna----------Toure-----Gallas----------Clichy------
-----------------------------Gilberto----------------------------
----Walcott--------------Fabregas------------Rosicky------
-----------------Da Silva------------Van Persie--------------
Will be a good attacking side imo

heard a rumour today that we were going to offer Carson in exchange for Gallas!!
Not sure myself though as being strongly linked with Kompany and we need Carson to sit on our bench as Dudeks left.

I like the look of that Liverpool team
1 of the midfield trio can be dropped if you're playing a lesser team and Kuyt can play off Torres, or if your needing a bit more physical presence Crouch.

I like that. Would rather have Alonso in over Sissoko though.
