I have 3 valuations booked for this week, i am going to see how much they think it could sell for... and if its a semi decent amount i am going to sell the house.
There is nothing major left to be done so im hoping that will work in my favour, its mainly cosmetic but i shall be getting it to sellable standard soon anyways.
What can i expect from a valuation, and is there anything i need to do?
I wont be selling if the house is valued at less than £95k. I've seen these that i like -

how much do you think you've spent on your house Ally? Think you'll make a fair amount of profit from it?

Tidy up and buy fruit, mostly.
I personally would finish the DIY as well. Not everyone is in a position to do jobs, either because they don't want to or might have kids etc., so being able to move straight in is a bonus if you can offer it.

I've spent 9k, taking what i bought it for and spending to 76k, its set to sell for about £95 - 100k
....and thats in 17 months
But the profit just goes towards a bigger joint mortgage, bah! But at least moving now to a house that size (see links) we will be set for at least the next 10 years (unless we win the lottery.... hmmmmm )

Not in 6 months but the one at the top on the end is up for 135k... who valued it at that was probably being way to optimistic
