Hello All,
A week ago today I came back from my 4th and best Annual Nurburgring Trip yet.
Over the week 1000's of pics were taken between myself and friends so I thought i'd share just a few with you, so that those who haven't been can get an insight into why we go.
First off our cars we took this year:
This is Ben's (He's building an LET White Corsa Van in the Projects section) Scooby STI Type UK PPP complete with De-CAT's & 3" Straight through Exhaust. (Managed a 9:13 time with traffic)
Padges (The old owner of my Red Corsa) Leon Cupra R, Complete with £1000 worth of Bilstien Coilovers, Eibach Anti roll bars, REVO Stage 2 chip, BMC filter and custom straight through exhaust
4 up ready for a lap
And on a lap 4 up
Unfortunetely this car had a "little" prang.... on the circuit
He was very lucky considering we lost it at 80mph and did over a 360 degree spin!
Here's the same car after one of our nights out, lol
This is Paul Elise, Billy suspension, Exhaust, filter and enlarged Throttle body.
Andy's Golf GTi took a liking to the Armco on the same corner I crashed in my nova turbo 4 years ago! Doh!!! I was in the car as well.
I drove my trusty new Fabia
Then we met up with a few mates Nova Turbos...
Andy Bishops
And the Imfamous 300bhp Blue beast of Mark Beeson
(Which recorded a PB time of 8:45 incendently which is seriously good going!)
Ok thats enough of our cars.... Onto what was in the Pits..
This M3 CSL managed to crack a disc..... even though it was running Lambo brakes
Oh year! 4 engines and 8 wheels
RC Developements were there in there 1000bhp Evo (Lapping in 7:30mins!!!) but the power was turned down to a "mere" 600bhp for the Ring
Aston DBS!!!
What happens to RX's with lots of power....ouch!
Now for some on track action
Drifting Viper
Whoops
Move over slow coach
The fastest things there
AX on the case... lol
New 2008 Scooby on test
Lexus Hybrid Supercar on test
Cook it yourself Volcanic Rock steak! Simply AWESOME
Some of our group
Midnight on the Ring we got our Ghost Busting gear on...
Pissed up on the track.... Its amazing what you find funny. lol
And finally... This is what happens when someone shouts "Leg it, there's someone coming"
Oh and on the way home we passed this beast
Neil

Its a WRX STI Type UK with PPP.... Quite a mouthful... lol, which basically means it came with 306bhp from the factory, lowered suspension and a host of other mods.

Trip looks amazing.
Is there an anniversary of Corsasport coming up i.e. 10 years? 15 years? I feel a Corsasport trip to the ring is in order. Might even take the 12v round I bet there is a minimum engine capacity
There were a lot of sexual cars there, but the CLK DTM *droooooollls*

I bloke that drives the same route to work in derby as me has one. Virtually the same straight through, 2003 reg. When it breaks from 30limit to national, the speed and noise is incrediable! On of the loudest cars i have ever heard tho
Exceptional cars tho!
How did the fabia hang out? Bet it was the best one of the lot on the drive down Doing more than twice the MPG of the impreza!

I wouldnt like to give my car that much abuse tho for 14 mile soild! And i couldnt just cruise round that would defeat the point for me!
Little 1.4 screaming its bollocks off! Would be awesome in the twisties tho, thats best thing about it for me! (-35mm on full suspension set up with gas shockers on Cav gsi rims with 45 pro tyre!)

Mine is an STI PPP, Marc. Well, I say that, it's got everything PPP, but the map is different because both cats are removed to give it more power and grunt. Plus, mine's a euro rather than UK, so has a few extras
(Oh, and read the back of the fight club dvd. I think you'll find his name is Jack )
Looks like an ace time. Fancy it myself but don't wanna risk my motor

I hate posts like this.
Just makes me want to go so bad
I could happily sit there all day watching all the modified cars get thrashed round the track. Some good spy shots there too

Haha, yeah but I already know its unreliable!!!!
Think I would get more out of the Tuscan but its always easier to drive a slower car fast than it is to drive a fast car fast.
Hmmmmm!?
