Which insurers tend to deal with younger drivers?

Just getting quotes for a car im getting, the engine is a 1.6 16v, lowest quote so far is just over £900, is that about right?

yeh i got a quote of £4400 from bell after id been told they were cheap,that was on my 1.2 16v corsa b and im 17 wen my mate has a 1400 sport zetec fiesta with them,wrote a car off and been in a shunt that wasnt his fault,18 years old for 1100 quid,dont get that company

All depends on the area and your job.

I put i was a police officer over unemployed and it was £400 cheaper

tptf with 100 xcess its £537 with breakdown and windscreen cover.

Good Times !
The 16v is 6-7bhp more then 8v but alot more to insure it seems
