Hmm...
Aug 1994 Revisions: gas shock absorbers, optional passenger airbag on all models; rear wash/wipe, stereo radio on Merit; close-ratio gearbox on 1.2i LS/GLS; airbag on GLS/SRi/GSi; 16-valve 90 bhp engine on 1.4i GLS/SRi; two-way 'cat' on 1.5 D models; modified low exhaust emission 106 bhp engine on 1.6 GSi.
Looks like it was 1994

The 8v comes with wheel trims i think, i have an 8v only like 6-7bhp difference when they were new so hardly anything amazing.
There the proper looking sport wheels.
Just dont pay 16v money if its an 8v.
I got mine for £500 no thrills style.
The 16v do seem to cost a bit more to buy and insure.
