http://www.portforward.com/guides.htm
That has all you need to know
P.s. BT are now throttling traffic in peak time e.g. 7am-11pm so you'll only get about 15kb/sec max then probably but after 11pm it rises to what it should be.
(thats what i've found recently anyway!)

in utorrent find the option that shows what port it is using (in one of the drop down menus, there is settings if i remember). Note the port down.
then use this guide (scroll to port forwarding bit)

im on there most expensive DSL deal and up to 8mb, i get fucking shit slow speeds. I didn't kno they were limiting like someone mentioned.
I used to be on 8mb at my parents, downloading at 800/900kbs now im lucky to get 30..
I cant get uTorrent workin either, so if you sort it Kerry do us a favour and let me know please!

BT = shite.
I had no luck getting my home hub to work with portforwarding, did everything I could find on the web and also noticed a few other people experiencing similar problems.
Someone mentioned changing the router will help as the problem lies there and there crappy admin management thing...

I had a link router before my home hub, found the home hub to me MUCH better, easier to use etc.
I used portforward as a guide to do it, very easy tbh.
