He was always a brilliant shot stopper but prone to the odd mistake now and then! Has he not got the record for clean sheets in the Premiership or am i tripping?

Yeah ~about~ 150 more matches I should imagine. Seaman played about 75 England matches and David James itro 30-35?

I think David James should stay where he is regarding his England international career

If McKnobhead recalls James then it will be the last mistake he ever makes IMO.

He is a fine shot stopped, but he has a tendancy to come flying out his box when he shouldnt, and cant deal with crosses for shit.

Id rather play a half fit Kirkland/Foster or our No.2 Carson over him if Robinson isnt playing.

I wouldn't put it past him to do anything, can anyone honestly say England have progressed any under the useless cunt?

There's little to no change at all from the Sven era apart from a hasty decision to drop Becks which he then had to go crawling back and reverse.

Carson is 2nd choice now Dudek has left, hardly a reserve. He could push Reina too if he gets a run in the first team. He did really well at Charlton.

David James is a liability.

Yeah, other than the two mistakes where he came running out of his box which were trademark James and the reason why he should never wear an England shirt again.

No one can question that, but he showed why he shouldnt be in the team with those two mistakes. You just cant make them at this level with the regularity as he does.

It didnt help when he blamed his concentration problems on his Nintendo

To be honest he has though won more games for teams then lost and his ability is as one of the best shop stoppers.

Keepers though are rememberd for 1 mistake in a game not the 10 herioc brave saves
