Our local one isnt really a salvage yard, its just for scrap, but you do manage to pick up the odd bit there. Its unmanned too, massive gates covered in barbed wire on the door

Theres a secret way in round the back though, went in through there. Rare to find corsas in there tbh. Need to go to the proper salvage yard in alness, fair bit away, but they have loads of corsas in there.

that sounds like a breakers to me

a "scrapyard" is full of fat men full of oil and mud with builders arses

In ours they pick the car up with a JCB and put it on a stand where a bloke gets underneath and twats the petrol tank with a pick axe to drain it then its off to the heap, could be 3 cars high

I love it in there me

Many years ago my mate threw an indicator stalk over the wall, went outside it was in bits on the road been driven over

Also I wanted plastic bits so I told the guy I was after a few things. He said don't take everything so I took most of the dash including the clocks and switches and left him the window winders.

There was a courtyard outside where the cars wait to be taken in.

I got a rear bumper, rear speaker, rear lights for my then F reg Polo.

Scrappy near me used to sell stuff off, but got caught selling stolen car's parts, they had their salvage yard license removed, but were allowed to still trade as a scrapyard. They leave the cars out in the open for quite a while, and you can take whatever you want absolutely free, as they can't sell it to you

They don't have much in though.
