Might have been a good idea to try the password before slagging off some software made by some of the most intelligent brains in the world

bt home hub cd for one, you insert it and it comes up saying it cant install as you dont have administator privaleges even though theres only one account and it is an admin one

No possible chance of it being a user error then

Dam...yeah you're right, Windows Vista must be shit if you can't play games on it
Actually, thinking about it....yeah, i think Microsoft created Windows Vista JUST for gaming. Not for use in productive business or educational environments

Not had a single problem with it. Any operating system would be the same this new.....just like the Xbox doesn't come out with 1000s of games to start with, if developers haven't had a chance to program for it, the stuff won't be available.
I guess people just like saying Microsoft are useless

We've just had a vista machine installed in the office and it's so slow I cannot bear to use it, Sage regularly crashes, SmartStamp is in compatible, and I have to buy a new version of Office to work on it. Yes I am also one of these people who think it's shit!

Why did you have vista installed in the office? What were you looking to gain?

It was sort of forced upon us by the company that looks after our IT and we thought we might as well start introducing it now so we could identify future potential problems before we upgraded all our our machines, hopefully it will improve greatly before this happens next year

It's not Microsoft's fault that a lot of software propducers haven't tested thier software on Vista systems. It's not like they didn't give them any notice that they were designing a new o/s.

when i used vista i didn't really have any problems, games included. the games i played all had downloads that made them work on vista etc.
the thing that pissed me off was the loading times it got so bad it drove me to go back to XP. i know i'm only delaying the inevitable however
