Alright folks, not been on the site properly in ages! For those that remember, I sold the Crx siR i bought due to moving into a flat in edinburgh with uni mates next month! Thought i'd sort out the priorities and I bought a cheaper car to run about in 2 weeks ago!

So here it is, a 1.5 corsa deisel You may laugh, but i get 135miles to a tenner of fuel Its pretty tidy on the outside considering age and drives like new, well happy with it

I dont have any pics from the day i bought it, i'll just pretend it has a standard grille and merit badges on the side...

First step was to remove the badges from side and tailgate. (side shown above)

Next step was to sort out the dent in the tailgate. Little bro is apprentice panel beater so brought a plunger home from work and sorted it out!

Before:

After:

Then we took the bumper off and i got the jigsaw out to make the badgeless grille i bought, fit.. (ish)

Note gimpy bro/dent wizard standing at side

Once that was done we ripped out the shiity standard oil stained interior and replaced it with some nice gsi seats, door cards and plastics I bought from adamc20xe.

Note the rear headrests! Also for those unaware, the car adam was breaking is mavs old red XE! Whoever thought part of it would live on in a diesel

When i went to collect the interior from adam, a guy from a local site text me to say he still had the wheels he was selling. So off i went in my dad's motor/hearse (306estate) filled with a corsa interior to squeeze 4 15" wheels and tyres in...

The wheels were already painted white but were a state so i've rubbed them down (only took me 8 hours ) ready to be re-painted white. Heres how they sit at the moment ready to be painted!

Some cesaros, all with good tyres

And thats it so far, will update the post as i get things done to it! Should have some suspension sorted out soon and gonna get the timing belt done very shortly too.

Facelift bumpers and gsi/sri spoiler are also on the list, the grille looks ok from a distance but really needs the bumpers for me to be happy with it.

All comments welcome

could of copied, i dont mind

was temped by white, but wasn't keen on the idea, due to the black bumpers, and my lazyness of not washing car, so they would end up looking black

The fit is pretty pish to be honest, u can see the gaps at the bottom of each side. I attached it with a couple of tech screws but u could drill a couple holes and use some self tapping screws.

Update:

Had the day off work so thought id finally finish off my wheels. This is how they looked earlier today..

Next thing on the list was to head round to adams to get some more goodies off his car. Done a deal with his koni suspension against my standard stuff. Didnt take any pics when we were swapping them over but heres the result...

Car was in bad need of a wash so i got out the autoglym and also fitted some clear side repeaters adam donated to me

Then finally, i put my wheels on before it got dark! 100X better than before. Chuffed with it! Just need some white post 97 bumpers now..

Also cheers to adam
