Was in Biggleswade today, and started going Southbound A1 to Buldock when a sound started coming from my engine I had past a lay-by then I slowed down and boom, bits came flying out the no.2 cylinder onto the road. Lucky two vehicles behind put there hazards on and stopped traffic from getting past so I could cost to the next Lay-by. Huge hole in no.2 clyinder. Had to get my uncle to tow me home, looking at new car tomorrow, will then sell Corsa SRi for parts.

How do you brake one someone smashed into the front of mine at roughly 50mph and it started straight after and it drove onto the recovery truck

I believe the cause was one of my Valves droppping into the cylinder.

I found the cause of the problem. Rocker arm snapped and left the exhaust valve in cylinder two open, causing piston to hit the valve and snap that jamming my piston and forcing it to come out the side of the engine block. Bloody hell.

Rocker arm is what under your camshaft, the open the valves for the air/ fuel or exhaust gases.
