This is probably the millionth post regarding this however i can't find any others

I've gone for a completely stealth install, nothing can be seen when you look in from outside however...

Basically i want to secure my subwoofer in the boot...however need to know where anyone else has bolted/screwed theirs to in the boot ?

Also anywhere that sells a decent and easy to use self tinting film ?

And finally any good idea's on how to secure ICE in the car

buy or aquire a piece of angle iron, cut some to the size you need for small brackets and drill holds either side, one bolts onto the box and the other the floor

lol aquire

i've had an idea kinda....i might try and find something that cant be cut easily (like seat belt cord), make a strap that connects around the sub, and then make a connection that bolts under the spare wheel

*edit*

I have drawn an amazing carefully and accurate image to explain the above text...

put a two piece false floor in that is quite tight in then screw it to the floor which will then keep the two sides of false floor together

There is no such thing as easy to use self tinting

your better leaving the tint off and just having a standard parcel shelf, this is more of a deterrent as they will think you havent got anything

thats a good idea about the false floor...however how easy is it to access the spare wheel...you'd have to unscrew the sub before you take up the false floor...?

Yeah my shelf is staying custom, but i'm putting 6x9's in rear door cards...however will do them as stealthily as possible, will still be able to be seen. How much is professional tinting ?

I'm upset nobody liked my amazing idea to use the wheel bolt

Just i think if someone broke into the car, took up the carpet and the sub, undid the bolt on the wheel, took the spare wheel out and somehow undid the connection (will probably lock it on)....without being seen....i think they'd deserve it

yeah its a toss up between having easy accesshaving to spare and having a secure bolted down sub, i didnt have a spare wheel in anyway as i had amps in the floor so i just had a can of tyre weld for emergencies, you can always get a mate top bring you a spare wheel if you are desperate or RAC

also for 6 x 9s you could trim the doorcards with fabric so they wouldn't be seen, as soon as they see them they'll know theres more gear in there.

yeah thats what i was thinking :/

I will trim over the entire door car with something else...but preferably want the rears tinted aswell just to make everything look darker...plus i think the car would look better...imo

cheers for the advice
