Using wurth plastic paint on my arches at min but the jetwash at work just washes it off so thinking of using a heatgun to bring the colour out,anyone tried this and does it work ok??
Going to buy a heatgun at weekend hopefully

My mates dad works for smiths and he does it all the time, says it works a treat - he did it on his lads car and seemed to bring them back to dark grey-ish from white

ahh sweet mate,was at smiths other day picking my washer pump up,had a water pump off them the week before

just remember to keep the plastic wet when heating it up so it doesnt warp the plastic.

or get some meguiars bumper care, lasts quite a while.

and don't jet wash your car! its naughty in the detailing world to jet wash.

its not naughty to jet wash your car at all in the detailing world

i use forever black tire gel on mine, so far lasted about 3 months and still a nice black, chipped a bit but thats due to heavy rain and motorway driving. Worth a punt

mine where pure white, i looked on the net for trim blackener ( not silicone back to black) this stuff is like blck ink. put it on and buff it up- apply a few times and mine is lke new now.

jet washing is naughty!!!! drives dirt etc into the paintwork, and if you have the pressure up too high it'll also be baaad for paintwork.

jeez, a lot of people use a wool wash mitt cos sponges are too harsh lol!
