9.5 Presentation
The back-end menus are the tiniest bit confusing, but the presentation is convincingly artful and useable. Very, very slick.
9.5 Graphics
Not quite technically the best looking game on the system, but its design aesthetic is second to none. Absolutely an accomplishment in this category.
9.0 Sound
Great score, well acted and haunting. It feels like more effort was poured into BioShock's soundscape than the sum-total of some other games in the genre.
10 Gameplay
Stellar. It's not revolutionary, but it is flexible, exciting, tense and thoroughly enjoyable from the opening moment.
9.5 Lasting Appeal
For a game of this level of detail and quality, it is surprisingly lengthy. It does end, though. Which makes us sad.
