£146000 Property (Thats what id offer at least!)
£40k to put down as a deposit so would need to borrow £106000 - Roughly 70% mortgage.
Income of around £25k (Though both are pretty new jobs the money will increase)
Think I would get accepted on that

the fact your with them might work in your favour though, as will know your past payment history, etc.

Book an appointment with a Lloyds mortgage advisor and see what they say
But Col - from what i remember you are going to go work away somewhere? Arent you better off saving like a madman whilst your working then looking to buy when you've got more saved, then increasing your chance of getting a mortgage for what u need

As said before, if you stay with Lloyds it could work in your favour. I think 106k will be on or around your limit with that salary though tbh.
Probs looking around £600-650 a month if over 25 years.

Yeah I know obviously only they will have the answer............thought house day might have a fair idea though
Im not going anywhere for a while, 18 months training to complete 1st, then i'll be away 2 weeks out of every 5 & on silly cash. tbh I just want a move away from my shitty neighbours. The house I ave in mind is perfect, 3 bedroom bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac, my gran is the only neighbour, no one on the other side at all.

Can live off £900 easily. It's about managing money better and not spending stupid amounts of money on things.

Its not that special tbh, very old lady inside too. Just the fact its 3 bed at a decent price & right next to my nan makes it appeal.

Ive had a good talk with Jade & decided its maybe best not to bother, buying it would mean we would need to struggle a bit for the next year or 2, when if we wait & stay in my flat for that time we will be much better placed to buy somewhere even bigger/better & not be strapped for cash when we want to enjoy ourselves. I think I agree with that......damn sensible women! Doing the maths my monthly payments would go up to £774, I pay only £220 just now
