Im really impressed with it, for around £3 a month it means you can download as much as you want off there at the full speed your line will support. I found this website www.rapidfind.org that lets you search for films. tv eps etc, then you just open the links and download at full speed. To make life a hell of a lot easier though, go into the premium settings on rapidshare and set up one click download instead of having to choose the server each time, then when you have done that use a download program like "free download manager", paste the copied rapidshare links into that program (ctrl, shift v) and they will download. You can also set up a scheduler like on utorrent which is useful, my ISP is 100% unlimited after 12pm till 8am, downloaded just over 14GB of stuff last night hehehe

Ive just started using it. Im sure there is a limit to how much you can download over 5 days tho. I thinks is 25Gb over 5 days and if you go over that you get a 3 day period where you cant download at all.

I am a member on supertorrent too and use it very often, but you gotta keep up a decent ratio, which you dont have to do with rapidshare, you can leech away guilt free! I originally signed up to rapidshare cos of the porn blogs with full length dvd rip downloads though

I went mad the first day and got banned for 3 days LOL . Ive just tried the free download manager and when I paste the links in it downloads 5.60kbs for each file and says its done. Any ideas why?

Rye, that also happened to me a couple of times, but it was for a different reason. Some of the links are too long to be displayed and the center of the links is replaced wit "..." so you need to right click and copy shortcut to the clipboard,then use that for the download manager

HOLY SMOKE!!!! im used to using limewire, and like 800MB taking forever to download at a max speed of like 40kb/sec.
just downloaded saw 3 in 40mins, its 900mb, i was getting each of the 8 files going at 200kb each  holy shit, i love u drunken

Occasionally youi will find some files are in .01, .02, .03 format, in which case you need a program called hjsplit to rejoin em, free download, sure you can find it on google somewhere

yeah cos the files stored on there are usually passworded .RAR files, and you need to know the exact location of all the different files to be able to to piece together the whole file and actually find out what it is. Id say its safer than the usual P2P

hahahha BT are gonna be a bit pissed off with my mum, she's just on their normal up to 8 meg service but ive downloaded 35GB since 1am on wednesday, i paid for a 2nd account on rapidshare so I could leech away before I go to Spain so I dont piss off my flatmates too much.
