no constraints apart from it must be based on a road car, so no muppets saying a f1 car etc etc

what car?
what engine?
what drive train config?

anything else... brakes, susp etc

and WHY?

anyone saying a corsa + LET will need put down.

you asked out opinions, i'm giving you one. if you don't like it, don't make a thread asking for what we would make etc

in all seriousness i would prefer something that would take a big of impact if i crashed.

For me having only ever driven corsa's.

Corsa b
c16xe + TB's + APRs + decent exhaust
LSD + lots of lightend bits
2.0 brakes
coilovers
stripped with ARBs and polyflex's

Could probably build one for not too much cash, and i know its not ultimate but would be something i could actually achieve.

Ultimate if i won the lottery or something would be that sumo powered civic type R because that looked quality going round the track.

Option 1.

Mk1 elise with a Type R converstion, then the usual upgrades to suspension, brakes etc...

Option 2.
MK2 XR2, stripped all the usual upgrades and running a S2 RST lump.

Option 3
FD RX7 stripped and tracked prepped.

911 GT3 RS / Brakes the size of dinner plates!!!

Civic TypeR / brakes/cage/suspension/Jackson Racing SC

205 GTi / stripped/caged/big brake upgrade.

Theres 3 different choices showing 3 different budgets.

what

that's even worse setup than a corsa with XE/LET

mk1 golf with mid-mounted rwd 1.8t engine.... or that engine in conventional layout.... much better
