anyone have one i can borrow to change my camshaft and cambelt? or better yet anyone want to do it for me for some beer?

It's a DIY job Kurt. Plus with an 8 valve the timing up is easy. One pulley instead of 2.

i dont know much about timing :s, i asked a lad here at work (fiat/alfa garage) whos into novas and he said i needed one so the headbolts can stay in

What he said doesn't make sense. A cambelt locking tool locks the pulleys.

he probably mean's the rocker removal tool..

that is, if your removing the cam, and changing it

yeah im removing the cam and swapping for a nova sr one, so i need a rocker removal tool?

Yes thats what you need.
Ive used mine several times, works fine

You dont need one change the cambelt btw.

im removing the camshaft so i thought why not do the belt/tensioner at the same time, think ive just done 58k? maybe 48k lol
