Placed another bet on Scotland whilst odds were still decent.
France will either draw or win 2-1 now

To the section of typical arrogant England fans that predicted we would get humped
Not as if we didn't deserve it either as well, we were better organised and apart from a few good saves Gordon made they were stifled before they could slip balls through!

Now pose the question who was the last team to beat France twice in a qualifying group? You'd be lucky to beat them once in the past decade, they've probably been the biggest force in European football.

yeah....not for the last while have they really been a great side, no matter what their placing in the WC may say.

You're as bad as the rest of them, turning this round to involve England fans.

What an amazing night!!
McLeish got the tactics spot on, 11 hero's on that pitch last night.
Defence was outstanding, thought hartley and brown were superb in midfield aswell!
Gives us a real chance of making it now and if we do my savings are gone cause i'll be there in 2008, lol

well done the scots! this is a good and bad result for italy. good because we dont'y have to rely on other results if we win all our games.....and bad cos if things come down between italy and france for second place, france have the better head to head

agree with hartley disagree on brown he's just not composed enough yet
mcmanus and ferguson where my stand outs mcmanus handled everything all night long and fergusons constanly broke up play and passed his way out of danger, no long ball rubbish
