Either he's put a F28 in or you're counting reverse as a gear
Mk4 GSi-T's and SRi-T's were 5 speed (+1 reverse.....) as standard

Mines got 5gears
And my traction control is switchable, not sure why you would want to turn it off on a FWD car tho...

F23TR in a gsi, coupe turbo, sri-T.
The 6 speed box that is offered as an upgrade is the M32 found in the VXR astra.

Really?! Surely it would aid it?
My corsa LET was absoloute bollox off the line at santa pod, just granny started it in the end.
Astra has never lost traction like that even when im hooning it

Mines much quicker off the mark with TC off, even with the stupid sports mode on! TC has a tendancy to be far too aggressive, and cuts too much power, even when you seem to have traction
