Amazing figures released today.
Turnover up to over £200m, with operating profit up 274% to £51.2m.
Mainly helped by the £3.1m per game they get due to the Emirates, and even though they have massive debt due to this stadium they have paid this years off and still have in excess of £35m profit.
Shows the real need for us to move to a new stadium, as will just continue to fall behind in the financial stakes otherwise!!

they get more per game than United do, and they have nearly 20k more fans going.
Although Arsenal do have some of the highest prices, and emptiest grounds duing some parts of the game!

Yeah they went heavy with the Corporate stuff at The Emirates. 2 tiers of the stadium are dedicated to it.

Atleast thats something that wont happen at Anfield, as the market isnt there like in London. Although having 3 rows of boxes on one side at the new one which will hopefully help bring in some of that extra revenue.
Arsenal are only about £1.8m behind Real who are the richest club in the world in terms of revenue.

Certainly doesnt have to spend it and not saying you need them, but would you not rather see some more top class players there? Just for entertainment value if nothing else?

[Can of worms]
You need someone who will buy a world class striker for £20m+ and then place him in a "rotation system" which ultimately means he won’t start games

Entertainment value is pretty high as it is without any 'big stars'. we are arguably playing the best football in the premiership at this moment in time.
So no, i think everything is lovely jubbly at the minute Rodders!

agreed, you easily play the best footy.
Its not like your the finished team yet though, you could do with some spending to strengthen it up.

Anyway, I think those figures are incredible considering we didnt win anything last year! Imagine what would have happened if we had done so!
I blame Baptista TBH. If he'd scored that penalty on the last day of the season, we would have finished above Liverpool so probably got some more cheese for finishing a place higher.....

We take around £3 million in ticket sales. I don't know what the profit is from that though.

TBH you very very rarely wind me up, but you can do. The other one winds me up a lot more but I think thats through stupidity more than anything else (along the lines AJ is trying by the looks of it)
