My mates just ordered an sxi with the £800 vxr styling pack. I can;t seem to find pictures anywhere but wondered if anyone had seen one around (is it the vxr bumpers/skirts etc?! )

Looks pants compared to VXR kit in pics.
But, they look quite nice on the road. Quite sporty looking.

Personally it's a bit of a shit name considering it just has the skirts in common with the VXR.

Looks ok I suppose, I have told her already she needs the sri 5 spokes as she was going to get the standard sxi jobbies.

Thanks

Deffinatly. If money's an issue i'd say get the wheels rather than the kit personally. Wheels can make a car look so much better, and the old and new style sxi wheels look crap IMO .

My neighbour had an Astra SXi with the VXR styling pack and the standard SXi wheels... loved the kit but the wheels wrecked it IMO. The wheels look too small without the styling kit as it is, but they're made to look even smaller with the styling kit!

Bit of a misleading name I think... makes it sound like you're getting the full bodykit that comes on the Astra VXR!

You sure about that? You could get the "VXR Style pack" aka XP, or Exterior pack before the VXR came out - marketing just re-named it to try and sell more

I think it looks OK in black.

Big wheels are a must. My old neighbour had kit and small wheels and every time I saw the car I thought 'why'.

That kit and the optional 18's looks amazing in real life, I'd have a 150 diesel with the styling pack and wheels over a VXR... Much nicer looking car in the metal..
