walked past game the other day and pointed out to my m8 that halo 3 was out. he shrugged his shoulders and sarcastically said "and????, its nothing compared to bioshock on the pc".
he then went on to say his pc was as powerful as 6 xbox 360`s. why do so many pc gamers have this attitude?

because 360 owners go on about how powerful their piece of tat is, when in all honestly its shite compared to a decent PC set up.

I used to play PC gaming before I had my 360 and for First Person Shooters Mouse/Keyboard beats any controller by a mile...
You'd have to have a pretty good PC (which will probs cost more than a 360) to compare them graphically....

it wont play the games 6 times better, or have 6 times better graphics etc.
in fact there is no chip on the market thats 6 times faster then the ibm custom made 3 core chip in the 360, nor is there a graphics card 6 times faster then the one in the 360.
in fact id be surprised if the graphics on his pc were any better, not because hos hardware isnt as good, but because games for consoles like 360 and ps3 are made specifically for the hardware, with no other over heads to manage.

Exactly. My mate paid more for his graphics card then I did for my 360. Is it anymore fun or fulfilling? Is it fuck.

when the games start taking more advantage of DX10 (which they are now beginning to do) then you'll notice more of a difference between them irregardless of processing power.

I had a brief thought of buying a 360 there, was even pricing them.
Then I was givin a link about hal being in 640p, they can gtf.
I didn't buy a 720p tv for that.

So in other words its however much a 360 is, and then you need to go out and buy a PC anyway to do all the other shit you'd want to do (no doubt look up geek porn if your a 360 owner).

thats not the point Nathanial.
People are complaining that buying a PC for gaming is stupid as is soooo much more than an Xbox. But in reality, even if you buy a 360, your still going to have to buy a PC to do the other stuff- something you wouldnt of had to if you'd bought a gaming PC.
