as above im getting a fault code showing 31 crank sensor no signal/low rpm.yet the engine will run but it ticks over at about 1500-1600 rpm.the crank sensor was fine before the rebuild btw.any ideas?

nah they are fine.im getting 3 codes in all.93 low hall sensor voltage 94 high voltage hall sensor and 31.im just wondering if the other two could cause the crank sensor fault to come up.

Could be knock sensor. Get a new crank sensor.

some ECU systems will also show code 31 because it doesn't see the engine turning over, this is not a fault because you haven't started the car

as above if its when the engine is off then its nothing to worry about

then its a loom or ecu fault? as that is the only other way those codes can pop up

try and reset you ecu disconect your batt for a hour then try again
