thought i'd post in here as never had a great response in the help section.anyway,as it stands my headunit doesn't pick up radio to play radio stations.i pulled the headunit out and there is a grey wire with a roundish plastic 'cover' if u like over a single pin which i am pretty sure there is a space for in the back of the headunit but the wire doesnt pull out far enough to insert it and cant see any other way of gettin it in the connection .i tried removin the ashtray on the bottom of the centre console but my hands are too big to be able to manouver it about.any suggestions and does it sound like im onto the right wire? wish i could upload pics of it but not on photobucket etc and dont know the model of sony xplode headunit

Im having trouble understanding what you've written in your post mate.

assuming you have the correct aerial adaptor already. you could also try getting an aerial extension shouldn`t cost more than a fiver. just to extend the original aerial wire i think there about 15cm long you can plug it in alot easier.
