Alright, I finally found some time to take some pictures of the seal thats between my mirror and the door.

Right, heres some pictures from the passenger side (the most problematic side)

This is a picture of the shitload of mastic i used!

And here is a pictures from the drivers side, same problem but less-severe.

Battery ran out so i could only take 1!

Is the seal ending too soon? should i probably look into getting some new seals?

pour water over it and see if it leaks through there obviously take the door card off so you can check properly

I did and it does leak, it leaks directly below the hole, so im 90% sure this is the cause but, im just wondering if i could get some pictures like this off a few people so i can see the gap...?

I dont want to go out and buy some new rubbers at £20 a pop when its just going to be the same!

Also, Its probably worthmentioning that my weather proofing sheet is a disgrace, its hanging off, the lower part is in no way stuck to the door and its got quite a few holes in it. I dont see how this could effect it considering its on the outside of the doorbehind the card and the water is dripping on the inside, but i thought id mention it becuase i dont know if this'll be a problem or not, but i guess somebody on here might!

just had a quick look at mine and they do meet. The bit that comes down fits snug against the top of the door trim seal and the bit that goes from front to back fits underneath the bit going top to bottom if you know what i mean?!

EDIT It might be worth taking the longer seal that fits on the top of the door completely off and refitting it so it goes under the other bit.

Good luck getting an answer from Vauxhall tomorrow (sunday)
Personally I'd just go to the scrappers and get some good condition ones for a few quid.
Where are you from? If you're close by you can have the seals off this GSi FOC.

Seriously mate, Get down to a scrap yard tomorrow. You'd probably get both sides for £5 and they are easy to remove and refit.
