Bought my car looking like this for 1100






was sitting slightly high so 1st on the list was to add some fk coilovers and pt my old depos on it from my old car








Then put my personalised plate on which i got for 18th birthday but never registered till my 19th birthday lol , and sprayed my grill black for cheap mod





Then my BFO exhaust ,de-cat and manifold went on






Speedlines was next on the list,



But was treated to a re-furb and a change of colour, white with a slight purple pearl in the laquer








Next on the list is Comps strayed a dark grey with the plastics the same colour as well as a respray in the same colour

ok update again finally;

striped the rear more and done a few small touches to tidy up the the doors,instead in having all the loom for the leccy windows etc on the outside of the door skin i drilled a hole behind the door and routed the wires through this was as looked neater i think or the passenger side,on the driver side i done the same for the electric mirrors and also removed the leccy windows switches at the bottom and moved them to mirror cover on the door as the original mounting for these were removed with the interior and hanging there lol. hope you like,

Next on the list was to get bucket seats, so i sourched a pair of recaro rev seats and put them in but had to modify the subframes for the seats subframes to attatch to these so i now can now them back and forth and tilt action instead of a fixed position,

Pics of rear with strut brace( need harnesses to wrap around strut brace now lol,






Slight change of plan now,was planning on tuning the 1.6 but came across a c20let and was pursuaded to buy it (buy chris c and steve) so me and chris set about taking the x16xe out;






NOW OUT







(put the straps on to hold the driveshafts up when moving in and out the garage)

in total it took to complete amatuers 3 nights in total of working on it about two hours a night,went straight forward really just common sence,hardest bit was getting the gear linkage off

Will be doing it again soon though really enjoyed it, next time might try fitting the engine again lol.

so got the engine off a member on here,

gave it a quick scrub







also gave the gearbox a quick lick of paint, only a f20 but will be upgrading to a f28 in the near future







the car went off to lee mitchell to fit the engine about a week ago so will put pics up when i pick it up!!!!!

can't wait though

Harness's arrived in the post and also a got a shiney oil cap








Also engine in and now running thanks to lee mitchell just waiting for a few lil bit to done than can collect it
