want to grab some new wheels, they will be 6j wide do i want some 165/50/14's on them to get that stretched look, my car is lowered 40mm and the offset is 30 will it catch the arches?

they will stick out, but tbh, 40mm isn't slammed so you might get away with them provided you dont fill your back seat with fatties

but it's all or nothing, will either just clear the arches or you will be in need of flared arches matey.

165/50 14s won't stretch on a 6" rim TBH.

This guy is right. To get a stretch going on you'll need a 7" wide rim with those tyre sizes. Easiest option is to just buy my 8x15 Rh Cups ......

tbh a 6" aint never gonna be euro...as it wont have adecent stretch and unless offset it like et10 it aint gonna stick out much!

1) Im failing to see why you would want to put streched tyres on standard vaux alloys?

2) near enough everything on your car you can buy "off the shelf" as you put it

That explains it then.

You might have brake clearance issues, even with standard brakes or even 2 litre ones.

theyre gsi brakes (which i got off the shelf in tesco) so fit under the standard 14s will it be an issue due to the offset then?
