Rent seems high to me. That's like a months wages to the average person.

90% of people i know are on less than £1000 a month. Probably should have said starting wage. I don't really live in the best part of Liverpool tbh.

£695 a month going on rent
I really want to move out but no way I'm chucking money away each month renting, leaving me with nothing to show at the end of it!
Not better off saving £700 a month towards a deposit on your own place or is that really not an option?
What I'm trying to do, save what I would spend on rent for a decent deposit!

People like you say this sort of thing, then 3 years down the line your still living at home..
Some people want some independence...the market is a lot cheaper to rent at the moment that buy...he has made some valid points...
You might feel happy still living under mummys roof...other people want to get out into the world and make a life for themselves...
Its all about personal circumstances and what people want from life...

we had our own house but had to sell before the buyer pulled out (and then poss lose the house we were going to buy) and then we could not get the mortgage on the one we were buying...
me and the mrs are currently living at our mum and dads 30miles apart so its hard to see each other....
i am not a fan of renting but needs must... will only be for 5/12mth...
also intrest only mortgage on something similar would cost about £1k a mth which is the same as renting...

Its nice, very nice..........I just think id take something lesser, that im actually buying rather than paying someone elses mortgage.
If your saying its just short term make sure you stick to that & dont get too comfy.

looks very nice but have to agree 700 a month for something that you do not own is stupid IMO
If you can afford 700 a month you can buy your own house i would say
If your having difficulty with credit best place to so is your bank as they know your finances through and through
