When I had pay and go years ago I was on Genie (o2) Can buy the sim off o2's website. Get 300 free texts as long as you put £10 on a month.

Im still on that O2 genie type thing. Top up £10 u get £10 credit, 1mb of internet and 300 texts a month. If top up before your anniversary date (like a day or so) you get an extra 200 texts for the next month.
Very good tariff, ive always got lots of £££'s left for emergencys and i never get through 300 texts so its perfect for me

vodafone,
spend £5 a week and get free weekend calls and txts, all i do is buy a £15 bolt on and get 500 txt

Stop being a fool
Just ring them up & bump your tariff up. If you can afford topay bills that are a few hundred quid then you can afford to pay a bit extra on line rental
Going on pay & go will end up more expensive
